What do we want? BRAINS!!!
What do we want?
BRAINS!!!
When do we want them?
BRAINS!!!
My experience at the 5th annual Zombie Pub Crawl has come and gone, and now I am back in the world of the living. But, before I stop my stumbling and mumbling I would like to offer the following reflection:
The Zombie Pub Crawl is awesome. Not only is Minneapolis flooded with the living dead (or more accurately, drunk and groaning costumed co-eds), but everyone is happy! There's something ugly-beautiful about a mob of thousands bonding over their fictitious personas and getting along because of their one shared commonality for the evening - they're all pretending to be dead. I saw not one fight, argument or frown... In fact, I even bonded with a member of the Somali community who told me and my friends that we were "all fucked up" but that it was ok because he was "an American too!" He even asked if we had zombie make up to share, alas we did not. I guess I just think it's funny that everyone seems loves a zombie.
On a personal level I could not be happier about my decision to go despite the fact that Alex opted out. As much as I would like to say otherwise, that's not something I would usually do. It turned out to be a fantastic decision because I ended up having more fun with more people. I can't remember the last time I had silly fun of this magnitude! Needless to say I'll be going next year.
Later days, BRAAAAAAINS!!!
Me getting ready in Sylvia, Jessica and Emily's apartment in Luther! Yay!
