Currently, I am sitting in the printmaking studio waiting for the hard ground on my zinc plate to dry so that I can give it a good hardy acid bath. Yep. You heard me. Acid. This process is pretty bad ass and so far my project has turned out quite well.

Speaking of acid, I'm feeling reckless lately. (No, I don't want to actually do acid... just thought it made an interesting segue.) I've been doing a lot of solitary driving lately. My favorite right now are the river roads because I quite enjoy the reflections of streetlights on the crisp black surface of the water. It calms me, which is a good thing, I think.

Alas, it is time to stop this entry to finish my project.
